How do I keep my kids from getting into drugs and premarital sex?

I'm terrified my kids will someday get involved with premarital sex and drugs (granted they're 3 and on-the-way right now so lots of time). Nothing seems to work and the more honest talks I get from supposedly normal kids, sex and drugs are just normal. I imagine my kids who I love deeply screwing up their lives strung out or sleeping around and it just makes me sick.

I've heard religion is supposed to reduce by half the chances kids will get involved in this sort of thing--but I just can't stomach lying to my kids, even to protect them, and I honestly don't see much truth in religion.

Has anyone gotten their kids through their teens, or kids who have gotten through their teens okay who could let me know how they did it?

All you can do is talk to them a lot and try to teach them right from wrong. But, don't be mean or they will just rebel.
